Prices and tax
Due to german law also the offers in the english version of semimart.net webshop are showing the prices including german sales tax as long as we did not change your customer status manually to "tax free". For deliveries to abroad this tax normally falls apart:
If the invoice address of the Buyer is in the European Union, the Buyer has to submit his valid European Tax ID (TVA / VAT-number). Otherwise (i.e. for private individuals in EU) we are forced to apply 19 % german sales tax. Customers from outside the EU will not have to give any tax related numbers, but your customs number might be helpful, if you should have any. Buyer from outside of the european union are generally charged without tax. Just pass your order to us, but do not pay before we send our invoice as a pdf document to you.
Prices are originary calculated in Euro. The shop offers the possibility to calculate all prices also in other currencies. But you should keep in mind, that for payment in other currencies than Euro there might apply exchange or additional transfer costs.
All prices in semimart.net shop are calculated EXW Friedrichsdorf.
By passing your order/offer to us, you will get for most countries an automated calculation for freight costs. We will choose the forwarder (normally DPD). If those freight costs turn out to be far away from the real expenses, we will contact you and send you an updated invoice.
If you want to use your own courier service, we just need your account number and name of the transport company. We will pack your order in boxes and will pass the gross weight and dimensions of the shipment to you. With DHL, TNT, UPS and FedEx we can organize the transport from our side, for all other courier services you will have to organize the transport after our notification, that the goods are ready for delivery.
If the goods turn out to be wrong, please contact us. If it is our mistake, we will arrange both, the transport back and the transport with the correct parts retour to you. Otherwise you will have to pay the transport costs for returning wrong ordered/unwanted goods.
We are only selling brand new original products, directly bought at the manufacturer. Those products are 100 % tested. Therefore it is very unlikely that anything is defect. If you feel, that you might have bought non working material, please contact us and send a documentation describing the defect.
Damages in transit have to be claimed directly at the forwarder. Please make sure to make a documentation (photos + day and time) of the delivery, showing, what transport damage was caused. Afterwards we decide together, what to do best. All shipments we send are covered by insurance.
