Buy here your power diode (module) directly from stock. semimart.net shop offers diodes of Powerex (USA, red background in the diode photos) and Powersem (made in Germany, tagged with blue pictures). Cheap price for big power - Powerex diodes start at 60A for the dual diode modules and at 200 Ampere in the section of single diodes (in isolated module version). The diode modules offering easy handling grace to galvanic isolation of their copper base plate. As the power electronic diode is always made of silicon diode elements, the voltage drop in the P-N junction is ~ 1.2 Volts. Multiplied by the current will give the heat dissipation.
