The existing name system of the Powersem product type plate was flawed by some incompatibilties with common notations in the internet and on Windows based computer systems, where the slash [ / ] is a reserved character.

So the former used slash "/" between current and tension rating in the type description will be replaced by the dash "-" (minus-sign). The change becomes operative from now on. Of course all electrical and mechanical data remain unchanged by this modification of the module naming.

Here at semimart.net we will change over from the old to the new name step by step. The old type names will still be locatable using the search function of the shop. The rectifier, thyristor and diode modules from our stock will be sold with the old type plates, and will be replaced by the new versions in future. Actually an exchange of the existing photos is not planned from our side.
